01.What the app collects
Without an account (the default)
- Your reading progress, streak, saved shlokas, notes, reflections, language and reminder time are stored only on your phone. We do not receive them.
- We do not use advertising, ad tracking or analytics.
If you choose to sign in (Apple, Google or phone number)
- Account details: your name and email address (Apple or Google sign-in) or your phone number (phone sign-in). These are used only to sign you in.
- Your journey: likes, notes, reading days, reflections, last shloka read and your name are saved to your account so they are kept safe and appear on your other phones.
- This data is stored with Google Firebase (servers in Mumbai, India).
Purchases
- Payments are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your card or bank details.
- We use RevenueCat to check whether you have Premium. RevenueCat receives a random app user id (or your account id, if you are signed in) and your purchase history from the store.
Notifications
- Daily reminders are scheduled on your phone. No personal data is sent to do this.
