Your data, handled with care.

This policy explains what Moweb Technologies Private Limited collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to moweb.com, our products, and our client engagements.

Last updated: August 2026

01.Who we are

Moweb Technologies Private Limited (“Moweb”, “we”, “us”) is a software engineering company registered in India, with offices in Ahmedabad, India and Secaucus, New Jersey, USA. We provide Enterprise AI, digital transformation, and product engineering services, and we operate the SaaS products ERPDrive, Costifys, Makanify, and Scraplytics.

For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Moweb is the data controller for personal data collected through this website, and typically acts as a data processor when handling personal data inside client systems.

02.What we collect

Contact and enquiry data: when you write to us, book a call, or request certificates, we collect your name, work email, company, the phone or WhatsApp number you choose to give, the topic you select, whether you ask for an NDA, and the contents of your message.

Technical data stored with an enquiry: when you submit a form we also record your IP address, browser user agent, the page you submitted from, the referring URL, and an approximate location derived from your IP address (country, and where available city, region, postal area and timezone). This is stored against your enquiry, not only in aggregate server logs. Location is derived from your network address and is approximate: a VPN, a corporate network or a mobile carrier will place you somewhere other than where you are.

Campaign and referral data: we record how you reached us. That may include campaign parameters carried in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content), advertising click identifiers from Google or Meta, the first page you landed on, the site that referred you, and, where that site is an AI assistant such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot or Claude, the name of the assistant. We cannot see and do not receive anything you typed into an AI assistant. Only the assistant’s name and the page it linked to are visible to us.

Stored on your device: your cookie choice and the referral data above are held in your browser’s local storage under the keys co_allowed, mw_attribution_v1 and mw_ai_referral_fired_v1. They stay on your device and reach us only if you choose to submit a form.

Engagement data: in the course of client work we may process data inside your systems strictly under the terms of our agreement with you. We do not use client data for our own purposes, and we do not sell any personal data.

03.How we use it, and on what legal basis

To respond to enquiries, confirm booked calls, and deliver proposals or certificates you request. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, or our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries.

To operate, secure and improve the website, including abuse and spam prevention. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and free of automated abuse.

To understand which channels bring people to us, so we know where to invest. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring our own marketing. This is ordinary business reporting, not profiling: we do not build behavioural profiles, we make no automated decisions about you, and we do not sell or share this data for advertising.

To place optional analytics cookies. Legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time.

To meet legal, accounting and contractual obligations. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation.

04.How long we keep it

Enquiry records, including the technical and campaign data stored with them, are kept for 24 months from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. Where an enquiry becomes a client engagement, the record is kept for the life of that relationship and for as long as tax and contract law requires afterwards.

The cookie choice and referral data held in your browser stay on your device until you clear your browser storage.

If you ask us to delete your data sooner we will, unless we are required to keep a record for legal or accounting reasons.

05.Cookies and analytics

The site sets no analytics cookies until you accept them. Google Analytics loads only after you choose Okay on the cookie banner. If you dismiss the banner or ignore it, no analytics script is loaded and no measurement request is sent. You can withdraw consent by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which loads when you first interact with a form and is subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms. It collects device and interaction signals to tell people from bots. If it is unavailable your submission is still accepted rather than blocked.

The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address at its edge network to deliver pages, protect against attacks, and provide the approximate location described above.

06.Sharing and processors

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, each bound by contract and permitted to use it only on our instructions.

Those providers are Cloudflare (content delivery, security and edge geolocation), DigitalOcean (hosting, in the United States), Google (reCAPTCHA on forms, and Google Analytics only where you have consented), and Google Workspace (email delivery of enquiry notifications to our team).

Moweb is registered in India and this website is hosted in the United States, so personal data submitted here is transferred outside the UK and EEA. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the UK and EU standard contractual clauses operated by those providers.

07.Security

Moweb is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified. Personal data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is least-privilege with SSO and two-factor authentication, and access to client environments is time-boxed and logged. See our Security page for the full picture.

08.Your rights

Depending on where you are, including under the UK and EU GDPR and India’s DPDP Act, you may have the right to access a copy of your personal data, to correct it, to have it deleted, to receive it in a portable form, to restrict how we use it, and to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests, including the marketing measurement described above.

Where we rely on your consent, such as for analytics cookies, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact form or at sales@moweb.com. We respond to verified requests within 30 days and we do not charge for it.

If you are in the UK or the EEA and you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

09.Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new “last updated” date.

Questions about this policy or our data practices: Moweb Technologies Private Limited, Sarthak House, Swastik Cross Road, C.G. Road, Ahmedabad 380009, India, or through the contact form.
